Alberta Carpenters Training Centre in Edmonton is hosting a Residential Carpentry Boot Camp from June 10-14, 2024. We encourage members to take advantage of this opportunity to enhance their skills.

Prerequisites – One of the following:

• CIT (Construction Industry Training) or equivalent
• Period 1 Carpentry completion
• 2nd Carpenter or higher

The course includes:

• Floor joist layout
• Installing hangers
• Framing walls and rough openings for doors and windows
• Show and review framing prints
• Demonstrate and review various tools
• Instruction on the building and erection of a tall wall with the aid of wall jacks
