Happy New Year! We are glad to let you know that funding applications are now open for all 2024 blocks of trade training. If you are an apprentice requiring assistance to complete your training, we encourage you to scan the QR code below and complete the application to determine if you qualify for support. The application can also be accessed by clicking this link.

Successful applicants may be eligible for the following:

– Up to $390 for texts, tools and PPE required by the training institution.

– Up to $40/day travel allowance based on km’s to/from school and the gov’t provincial rate.

– Up to $60/day child or dependent care reimbursement.

– Up to $800 per student for temporary long-distance rental.

– Up to $320 per student tutoring reimbursement available to 100 students.

Funding is available until January 2027 and can be used once per apprentice.
