Opportunity to lift bans at Syncrude and Suncor sites

with No Comments

Members,

This notice is being sent out as Suncor is starting to take operational ownership of Syncrude Canada.

Members with existing bans at either Syncrude or Suncor facilities are asked to follow up with their respective Business Representative, as outlined below. Moving forward, we are working with Suncor to remove bans that were placed on members that have worked at either facility following the ban placement. This offers an opportunity for members to have their ban removed for demonstrating good service at either Suncor or Syncrude facilities.

You are required to take action by November 26, 2021.

For Syncrude site bans, please contact Business Representative Noel Molloy by email at NMolloy@albertacarpenters.com.

Include your name, Union ID, dates and information relevant to your ban.

For Suncor site bans, please contact Business Representative Chris Nash by email at CNash@albertacarpenters.com

Include your name, union ID, dates and information relevant to your ban.

While some members may have applied and provided documentation in the past to have bans lifted, this represents a new opportunity to have bans reviewed and potentially addressed.

This opportunity is only open till end of business day on November 26, 2021. Please do not delay. It is our hope to have as many bans lifted as possible.

Thank you.
