Members,

Alberta Carpenters Training Centre in Calgary has openings in the Scaffolding Journeyman Upgrade (6 week) course, which is scheduled to run from Aug. 12 to Sept. 20, 2024. We encourage members to take advantage of this opportunity to enhance their skills.

Prerequisites:

• Ticketed Journeyman Carpenter or classified as a Journeyman Carpenter with the local Union  

OR the following:

• Proof of six years experience as a Scaffolder or classified as a Journeyman Scaffolder with the Union
• 10,000 documented scaffold hours
• 1 Letter from a scaffold employer (Union contractor) endorsing Journeyman competency

The Scaffolding Journeyman Upgrade course is a condensed version of our Scaffold Apprenticeship Levels 1-4. Designed for Journeyman Carpenters and the most experienced scaffolders to complete their Scaffold Apprenticeship.
