| Members, The 2026 Western Apprenticeship Competition is coming to Edmonton and you are invited. The western qualifier for the National Apprenticeship Competition takes place at the Alberta Carpenters Training Centre on May 29, 2026. This exciting, hands-on competition will feature 12 top competitors—6 Carpentry and 6 Scaffolding apprentices—from across Alberta and British Columbia. Attendees will see practical builds in action and have an opportunity to connect with our apprentices, instructors, and partners. We will also be showcasing our Floorcovering Installer training during the event. 2026 Western Apprenticeship Competition Date: Friday, May 29, 2026 Location: Alberta Carpenters Training Centre (15210-123 Avenue NW Edmonton) Time: 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (Scaffolders will be dismantling in the afternoon, Carpenters build all day) Lunch: Free barbecue from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. We are seeking members who would be interested in volunteering time to assist with the lunch barbecue!
