Nominations open for UBC Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Accessibility Award of Excellence

To all UBC Alberta members,

The United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America Canadian District is pleased to announce that nominations for the UBC Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Accessibility Award of Excellence are now open. The UBC recognizes the role of Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (EDIA) as being essential to its growth, structure, and continued success within the construction industry.

You are encouraged to nominate a UBC member and/or employer who you feel deserves to be recognized for their outstanding efforts towards making our environment equitable and inclusive for all workers. A maximum of one (1) person can be nominated for each of the following categories:

  1. Mentee
  2. Mentor
  3. Employer
  4. Employer – UBC Apprentice Service Program

The nomination deadline is March 1, 2024, 11:59 pm EST.
